    Vega Sicilia is the name of one of the most internationally recognized Spanish wines. It is located in the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin, in the province of Valladolid.

    The winery was founded in 1864 and acquired by businessman David Álvarez Díez in 1982, it has 250 hectares of vineyards, of which 80% are Tempranillo or Tinto Fino, and the rest a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec.

    Vega Sicilia wine is made primarily from a local grape called Tempranillo. The production process is very meticulous so that the result is excellent.

Albariños

Albariño is a variety of grape native to Galicia, Spain, which is used for the production of white wine in that region and, to a lesser extent, in the Spanish regions of Cantabria, Castilla y León and Catalonia. In the north of Portugal it is known as alvarinho or cainho branco and is abundant in Monção and Melgaço, in the northwest of the country.

Mencia

Mencía is the name of a variety or breed of red grape introduced and cultivated mainly in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula since the time of Ancient Rome. After recovering from the disaster of the phylloxera epidemic at the end of the 19th century, which caused a serious economic crisis in its traditional growing areas, it is used to make aromatic and fruity wines , with an intense color, and with aging possibilities.

Riojas

Rioja is a Qualified Denomination of Origin (DOCa) of Spain with which certain wines made in areas of the autonomous communities of La Rioja and the Basque Country are distinguished mainly, and to a lesser extent in Navarra or Castilla y León, 4 ( less than 2.5 km²). Due to the orographic and climatic diversity, there are three production subzones —Rioja Alta, Rioja Oriental and Rioja Alavesa— where wines of different characteristics originate. The average annual production of Rioja wine is 336 million liters (85% red wine and 15% white and rosé wine). Rioja wines are fresh, aromatic, with a balanced composition and an excellent bouquet.

Ribera del Duero

Ribera del Duero is a denomination of origin to which vineyards located in Castilla y León (Spain), within a strip of the Duero river basin, of about 115 kilometers long and 35 wide, located at the confluence of the provinces of Soria, Burgos, Segovia and Valladolid. DO Ribera del Duero wines are mainly red, although there are also rosés. The most characteristic grape variety is the generically called Tinta del País, known in the wine world as Tempranillo , which constitutes more than 90% of the production.
